I am originally from Minneapolis Minnesota, I graduated with honors and distinction in Philosophy from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Before beginning my graduate studies at the University of Utah, I interned at the Center for Bioethics at the University of Minnesota and with the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues. I also worked as a research assistant in the Medical Humanities Department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
In my graduate career, I have worked as a Research Assistant for ItRunsInMyFamily.com and the Utah Center for Excellence in ELSI Research. I have been a Teaching Assistant and Instructor for the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Computer Sciences. I am presently a Steffensen Cannon Graduate Research Scholar.
